Welcome to Jiaqi Studio. We create each piece with care, and we want your experience with us to be just as thoughtful. These Terms & Conditions explain the guidelines for using our website, purchasing or renting our garments, and engaging with our services. By using our site, you agree to these terms — so please read them carefully. They’re here to protect both you and us, ensuring every interaction with Jiaqi Studio is clear, fair, and respectful.

1. General Information

1.1 These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of www.jiaqi.studio (the “Site”) operated by Jiaqi Studio LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a company registered in New York, United States.
1.2 By accessing the Site, making a purchase, or booking a rental, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1.3 If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use our Site or services.

 

2. Eligibility

2.1 You must be at least 18 years old, or 13 years or older with parental/guardian consent, to use this Site.
2.2 By using the Site, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Purchases

3.1 Payment — We accept credit/debit cards and Apple Pay. All prices are in USD and subject to applicable sales tax. Full payment is required at checkout.
3.2 Order Processing — Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days. Processing times may vary during peak periods or due to unforeseen delays.
3.3 Shipping — We currently ship within the USA only.

Standard: 5–8 business days — $5.00 (Free over $150)

Express: 2–4 business days — $15.00

Priority: 1–2 business days — $30.00

3.4 We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, carrier issues, or other factors outside our control.

 

4. Rental Services

4.1 By renting from Jiaqi Studio, you agree to the additional terms below, which form part of these Terms & Conditions.
4.2 Acceptable Wear vs. Formal Damage

• Acceptable wear includes: minor creasing, faint fragrance residue, subtle softening at seams.

• Formal damage includes: stains, tears, burns, broken closures, missing trims, lost/unreturned packaging or accessories.

• Major damage is any irreparable harm rendering the item unsuitable for future rentals.

4.3 Damage Notification — If damage is found, we will contact you via email with photo documentation and an invoice based on Section 4.5.

4.4 Late Returns — First-time renters receive a one-day grace period. After that, a $50/day late fee applies, capped at the depreciated retail value minus rental fees paid.

Items not postmarked by Day 10 after the rental end date are deemed lost (see 4.5).

4.5 Loss & Damage Fees

Lost items:

• 1 prior rental: 95% retail value

• 2–3 prior rentals: 90% retail value

• 4–5 prior rentals: 85% retail value

Damage fees:

• Minor repairable: $25–$200

• Major irreparable: charged at lost item rates above

• Rental fees already paid will be deducted from the total charge.

4.6 Customers may not attempt self-repair. All fees will be charged to the card on file.

5. Returns & Refunds

5.1 Return Period — Items must be returned within 7 calendar days of delivery.
5.2 Condition — Items must be in original, unworn, unused, unaltered, and unwashed condition, with tags, labels, and packaging intact. Items worn for photoshoots, events, or press are considered used and not eligible for return.
5.3 Exclusions — Preorders, custom orders, and rental items are final sale.
5.4 Process — Contact info@jiaqi.studio for return authorization before sending items back. Returns without prior authorization will not be accepted.
5.5 Shipping fees are non-refundable. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5 business days after receipt.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 All designs, images, text, graphics, and other content on the Site are the property of Jiaqi Studio LLC and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.
6.2 You may not reproduce, distribute, display, or use our content without prior written permission.
6.3 Press, stylists, and customers must request written permission before sharing or reproducing our content.

 

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Site or its content:

• For any unlawful purpose.

• To infringe upon our intellectual property rights.

• To misrepresent affiliation with Jiaqi Studio.

• To copy, scrape, or mine product data or images without consent.

• To transmit viruses or harmful code.

• For fraudulent transactions or identity theft.

• To harass, abuse, or threaten our staff or customers.

8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

8.1 All products and services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, except as required by law.
8.2 We are not responsible for:

• Allergic reactions or sensitivity to materials.

• Events impacted by late shipments.

• Minor variations in color or texture from images.

8.3 Our liability to you will never exceed the total amount paid for your order.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, NY.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to the Site. Continued use of our Site constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
